Beautiful Kangxi Blue and White dish with underglazed blue floral decoration in the center and on the rims and with one bug. Double blue circle on the edge of the bottom of the dish and on the top of the cavetto. The outer edge has one blue circle on the inner side and the outer side of the rim is gilt. The back of the rim has styled vegetal decoration.
Origin: China.
Period: Circa 1700 - Kangxi
Conditions: Very good. Wear consistent with age and use. Micro chip on the back side of the edge. The dish has an important firing defect that makes it quite original: a sand flow that vitrified in the kiln.
